The History of the Restaurant
La Dolce Vita has a long history rooted in a passion for gastronomy and a love of Italian flavors. It began back in 2004, when my father, Carrera Daniele, opened Pizzeria Italy in Győrszentiván, with four tables and a dream of authentic Italian cuisine. But a love for Italian cooking knows no bounds. In 2007, the restaurant opened its doors in the heart of the city center under the name La Dolce Vita. It was the first genuinely Italian restaurant in the city, run by an Italian owner. The place had its own soul, a true home-like atmosphere where everyone felt like family. In 2017, the restaurant found a new home once again, this time at its current location. Now, years later, standing alongside my father, I, Valentino, as the restaurant's second generation, proudly continue the story of La Dolce Vita...
